I am planning to move to another apartment and contacted A1 Umzugservice. I am a long term customer of Telekom and have a Kombi (Festnetz telephone + Internet). The price of the package was initially 19.90 euro per month, then it was increased to 22.04 (I guess due to the general price increase). Today I got a call regarding my ' Umzug' request and was informed that they do not have this Kombi any more and the package will cost now 26.90 (A1 XS). Is it normal practice? I do not understand it. I am not cancelling the old contract but just moving to the another apartment with my current contract with the A1. Why shall I cancel it and make a new one under other conditions? Or they are right - the change of apartment leads to the cancellation of the old contract?



Question number 2: can I have package Festnetz telephone + Internet + Handy? How much it will cost? On A1 web page I could only find Kombis with Internet+ TV, but I do not need TV.

I think your olt contract is not longer availible. This will be the reason why you will get the new contract.

But with the new contract you should get also a fast Internetconection b ecause the offer A1 Internet XS have 20 Mbps ( the old one maybe only 8 )



The second question: You will get 10€ discount of your favorit mobilphone contract. This is a benefit when you have Internet by A1

I am just thinking if 20 Mbps is enough or I should select A1 Internet S with 40 Mbps? I need Internet for e-mails, surfing, seldom for Skype and sometimes for watching TV online programs. The old 8 Mbps Internet was more or less OK.

Or shall I first select 'XS' Tarif, try it and if not happy with the speed, change to 'S' later? (I hope the "Befristung' is not related to Tarif changes). Or I shall make the decision now, as it will be possible to change to 'S' or 'L' only after 12 months?

Which speed you need ist depends from you. If you have got no problems with the slower internet so I think GS20 will be more then enough.
