B.free Internet L/S (1 jahr) on existing 'B.Free internet' card

Dear Team,
Couple of years ago I have purchased 'B.Free Internet' card and was using it from time to time (by purchasing data packages when required).

Now with the all recent changes to EU roaming regulations, I would like to activate B.Free Internet S or L (valid for 1 year).

I have sufficient funds on my account.
Can I activate it following below instructions on my existing 'B.Free INTERNET' card?
https://www.a1.net/internet-tarif-anmelden

As I don't have any active data package at the moment, I guess I will get charged to get to this page and to activate it? Is it possible to activate Internet tariff by using USSD command or free service SMS?
I have checked 'Mein A1' now and there are no options to change the tariff and I can only activate 1GB Internet package for 6.90EUR

Thank you!

p.s. i could provide my subscription number by request.

OK, answering myself.
Yes, I was able to activate B.Free Internet L on my B.Free Internet prepaid SIM purchased in April 2015.
And it seems that traffic to a1.net activation page is free even while in EU roaming without data package activated.

Now I have one more question - how can I check if my old SIM supports LTE?
It was purchased in April 2015 (it is WP Kombo-SIM - standard + micro, without nano).

According to the above, my card (A55) does not support LTE.
I have to change it to a new one (A56?) when I'll be in Austria...
And this will cost me .... 30 EUR in A1 shop or 9.90 EUR online! 😠

Hello @@Dusha and welcome to the A1 Community,
I'm glad that you found your answers on the Community, yes to change your prepaid card to be viable in our LTE-net will be charged.
It's simply because you can use traffic already and if you wish to upgrade the speed you get charged. On the other hand, the new set of SIM-cards are much less likely to malfunction than the old ones.
Also the A1.net page is free wether you're in Austria or abroad in the EU.
Best regards, Josef
